She was kind and knowledgeable and helped immensely

I have been going to Dr Terkildsen for over a decade. My daughters see her and I have recommended her to several of my friends. She is the rare OB/GYN that is able and interested in treating a woman at all phases of her life. She is compassionate, empathetic, intelligent and kind. I wish it was easier to get an appointment to see her, but I imagine she has a large caseload given that she is an exceptional doctor.

She is a god physician and people person.

I had to switch gynecologists this year due to my previous doctor no longer being in my insurance network. I saw Dr. Tirkildsen for the first time on [date] for a general checkup and Pap smear. I found her to be informative and a good listener, but not high on the compassion side. I needed a bone density test as I've been diagnosed with ostopaenia by my previous doctor, and was put on medication for it, and we needed to see if the meds have been effective. I had the bone density test on [date]. The results for my Pap smear and bone density were available very quickly and I expected a call from Dr. T on or around [date] to discuss results and medication plan for the future. I sent her a message through NSConnect on [date], but never heard back. I called NS at 9:10 AM on [date] and left a message to have someone call me. By 3:00 that day when no one called me I called again and was promised a call back by a nurse. I asked if Dr. T was ill or on vacation. They said no but she will be taking a leave at the end of the month. I asked if someone else was going to be filling in for her. I got no definitive answer. I did receive a call back from a nurse at 3:34 on [date] and she left a voicemail because unfortunately I was in the shower when she called. It's the weekend now so I will call back Monday. Almost all my doctors are with NS (Endeavor). I have never ever had to wait over a week to get a message and/or phone call from a doctor to go over test results. I'm active on NSConnect and I have never not gotten a response from any of my doctors after sending a message to them. I am very disappointed in the lack of follow up from Dr T. If she was unavailable, ill, out, or whatever, someone at NS should have called me to let me know. I do not feel that Endeavor really cares about me, based on recent experiences I've had with a few other Endeavor doctors this year as well. I am considering changing to another medical group because of this. I've been with NS doctors for many years, but ever since the change to Endeavor, things have not been positive.
